One of the innovative ways Syncplicity has helped Siemens employees has been in device-independent printing. This has mostly been a plea for users, due to a need for them to have a right printer device motorist commissioned on their device, though a association is now standardising a copy environment.
By integrating with Syncplicity, Janssen said it would be possible for a user to copy a request into a Syncplicity print folder. They would be able to use any device, such as an iPhone.
“The user would upload a record into the Syncplicity folder, afterwards go to a printer and record in,” he said. Using the Syncplicity application programming interface, a printer accesses all a papers a user has uploaded for printing.
