iOS update bricking some iPad Pros<\/h3>\n

Problems with iOS updates are becoming frequent, and the new version is continuing the trend. Some owners of the 9.7-inch iPad Pro are reporting that upgrading to iOS 9.3.2 is leaving their tablet in a dead state.<\/p>\n

Apple is always filing patents and this new one is for an improved iPad dock. The patent details a dock that can fill in features missing due to the low power profile of the iPad. The dock could also provide improvements to HomeKit.<\/p>\n

iPhone sales under assault by China<\/h3>\n

Latest figures by Gartner show that smartphones from China are becoming global brands and growing while Apple is slowing. These brands are primarily Huawei, Oppo, and Xiaomi.<\/p>\n

The good news is that smartphones sales have shown a modest 3.9 percent increase in the latest quarter.<\/p>\n
