Tap into a “hivemind”

While Systembolaget is Listi’s initial gash during a sell world, she has worked in IT with multinational companies before, including Ericsson for over 30 years. In that time, she has seen IT change from technology-oriented support duty to information-led partner for a core business.

Despite this, people have remained during a heart of IT. Listi refers to a significance of a group as a “hivemind”, that means a value of removing people actively concerned in projects and operative as one unit.

“I have many years of knowledge in handling successful teams and delivering IT,” says Listi. “What we bottom my care on is my group – a hivemind – and transparent goals and targets that can be totalled brief and prolonged term. we wish to emanate an sourroundings where we can get a glorious people we have around me to grasp their really best. Having a transparent IT strategy is a many critical partial of this.”

A new, updated IT plan is what this hivemind is now operative on. It will be a measuring hang for all a company’s arriving IT projects and move an increasing concentration on digitisation.

It will also assistance beam Systembolaget’s outsourcing strategy. Most of a company’s IT is outsourced, while a inner group focuses on architecture, product and portfolio management, and applications and retailer governance. Listi sees this is a good approach for a medium-sized organization to sojourn adult to date in a IT delivery.

“Our suppliers are distant some-more able of providing complicated IT services than we are,” she says. “I consider this is a best approach to organize IT. We have an IT organization that drives and requests services, follows up, and manages governance with a suppliers, so we constantly stay in balance with what is function in a market.”

Systembolaget also operates an in-house IT services desk. Its staff has been comparison on a basement of prolonged knowledge in a business, and a good bargain of both a IT processes and a work finished in a stores.

“When people call a table with issues, we know them by name and have an bargain of a business and a urgency,” says Listi. “It is something we have not had before in my prior roles, though we feel it is something really special. It is as critical to concentration on relations as it is to follow processes.”
