Hello, 1.4 kilowatt power supply. But: optional wheels!  <\/li>\n<li>The rumored 32-inch HDR display (that Apple dubs &#8220;XDR&#8221;) is real as the <span class=\"link\">Pro Display XDR<\/span>; Apple intends it to replace both reference and working monitors for video editors. It&#8217;s got a matching cheese grater back that&#8217;s also a huge heat sink. The panel has 6,016&#215;3,384 resolution, is true 10-bit, and incorporates a polarizer for better viewing angles, etched glass and a large array of blue LEDs with lenses and local dimming that supports 1,600 nits peak and 1,000 nits sustained and high contrast.<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"link\">The monitor stand costs an extra $1,000<\/span>, <span class=\"link\">which did not go over well<\/span>.<\/li>\n<li>Apple&#8217;s new Mac Pro with monitor costs $12K,\u00a0<span>so here are 10 cars that cost less.<\/span><br \/>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            <a href=\"javascript:void(0)\"><\/p>\n<figure class=\" img\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.wordpressdynamos.com\/timesofnewscdn\/blog\/0d95f_apple-wwdc-2019-pro-display-xdr3707.jpg?resize=640%2C360&#038;ssl=1\" class=\"\" alt=\"apple-wwdc-2019-pro-display-xdr2-2\" height=\"360\" width=\"640\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>            <\/a><\/p>\n<figure class=\" img\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.wordpressdynamos.com\/timesofnewscdn\/blog\/d9cf6_wwdcipados.jpg?resize=196%2C110&#038;ssl=1\" class=\"photo\" alt=\"\" height=\"110\" width=\"196\" \/><\/figure>\n<h2> \t \t \t \t \t \t \tIPad now runs iPadOS<br \/><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>It wasn&#8217;t announced, but <span class=\"link\">it looks like iPadOS is getting mouse support<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Splitting the operating system<span class=\"link\"> lets Apple take better advantage of the bigger screen<\/span>. It lets you pin widgets to the home screen, provides a better multitasking interface, permits multiple windows in apps with split screen, and has App Expose.<\/li>\n<li>Now there&#8217;s a column view in Files, more metadata and quick actions. Also, folder sharing finally comes to iCloud Drive, and you&#8217;ll be able to attach to network servers.<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"link\">It adds support for USB thumb drives<\/span> and the ability to import photos directly from a camera.<\/li>\n<li>Safari on iPad will pull the desktop site resized for its display and optimized for touch input.<\/li>\n<li>There&#8217;s support for custom fonts from the big foundries, as well as better text selection.<\/li>\n<li>Apple Pencil has lower latency and is better for doing markup, and Apple has opened the programming interface to other software developers.<\/li>\n<li>All these changes mean <span class=\"link\">the iPad is more like a laptop than ever.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure class=\" img\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.wordpressdynamos.com\/timesofnewscdn\/blog\/1d3cd_apple-privacy.jpg?resize=196%2C110&#038;ssl=1\" class=\"photo\" alt=\"\" height=\"110\" width=\"196\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>            <a href=\"javascript:void(0)\"><\/p>\n<figure class=\" img\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.wordpressdynamos.com\/timesofnewscdn\/blog\/a1762_faster-unlock.png?resize=640%2C360&#038;ssl=1\" class=\"\" alt=\"apple-ios-13-wwdc-2019\" height=\"360\" width=\"640\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>            <\/a><\/p>\n<figure class=\" img\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.wordpressdynamos.com\/timesofnewscdn\/blog\/d8c99_ios13-firstlook-00-05-17-04-still002.jpg?resize=196%2C110&#038;ssl=1\" class=\"photo\" alt=\"\" height=\"110\" width=\"196\" \/><\/figure>\n<h2> \t \t \t \t \t \tComing to the iPhone: iOS 13<br \/><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>PSA: <span class=\"link\">Your iPhone may not be compatible with iOS 13<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"link\">Dark mode is a-comin&#8217;<\/span>. <span class=\"link\">Here&#8217;s why you should use it<\/span>.<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"link\">It&#8217;s got a lot of new features<\/span>, and <span class=\"link\">you can install the beta right now<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Safari, Mail and Notes get some updates, but the big rewrite is in Reminders; also\u00a0<span class=\"link\">more detailed maps will arrive in Maps by the end of 2019<\/span>.  <\/li>\n<li><span class=\"link\">Apple has cracked down on some privacy tracking<\/span> including <span class=\"link\">Apple tracking-free single-sign on<\/span>, and random email addresses with forwarding &#8212; it will also be on the web. <span class=\"link\">Here&#8217;s how Sign in with Apple works<\/span>.<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"link\">HomeKit security is also improved<\/span>, and Apple now has a HomeKit-in-routers partner program.<\/li>\n<li>And, of course, <span class=\"link\">some Memoji upgrades for personalization<\/span>;<span class=\"link\"> here&#8217;s how it works<\/span>. Now there are automatic sticker packs of your Memoji.<\/li>\n<li>Portrait lighting effects and an improved editing interface in Photos, as well as the ability to rotate and filter videos. Plus a new automatic organization of your Camera Roll.<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"link\">Siri can read and reply to messages<\/span> via your AirPods, <span class=\"link\">HandOff to your iPhone is coming to the HomePod<\/span>, and more personalization across loads of HomePad capabilities.<\/li>\n<li>iOS 13 will let you <span class=\"link\">share music with an AirPods-equipped friend<\/span> from one iPhone\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>CarPlay has a new dashboard with expanded partner apps.<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"link\">Siri&#8217;s voice sounds a lot more natural<\/span>, since it&#8217;s completely procedural rather than pieced-together recorded syllables, and has learned to read incoming Messages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            <a href=\"javascript:void(0)\"><\/p>\n<figure class=\" img\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.wordpressdynamos.com\/timesofnewscdn\/blog\/142b2_ios13-dark-mode-large.jpg?resize=640%2C360&#038;ssl=1\" class=\"\" alt=\"2019-06-03-13-10-20\" height=\"360\" width=\"640\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>            <\/a><\/p>\n<h2> \t \t \t \t \t \t \tMacOS Catalina       <\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The new version of <span class=\"link\">MacOS<\/span>, <span class=\"link\">version 10.15<\/span> or &#8220;Catalina&#8221; has an <span class=\"link\">iTunes replacement<\/span> dubbed\u00a0<span class=\"link\">Music<\/span>, less-intrusive iPhone integration, a Podcast app with indexing for easy finding, and Apple TV with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision support.<\/li>\n<li>There&#8217;s a new app called Sidecar that lets you<span class=\"link\"> use the iPad as a second display<\/span>.<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"link\">It adds assistive voice control<\/span>.<\/li>\n<li>An Activation Lock and Find My comes to MacOS for locking access to your MacBook from thieves.<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"link\">Project Catalyst <\/span>(formerly Marzipan) is only for iPad apps; it permits developers to now <span class=\"link\">easily port their iPad apps to MacOS<\/span>.<\/li>\n<li>For developers, <span class=\"link\">RealityKit and Reality Composer updates to ARKit <\/span>(with built-in motion capture) made Minecraft in the real world possible, and that&#8217;s just for starters.<\/li>\n<li>Swift programming language has a new framework to make programming easier.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            <a href=\"javascript:void(0)\"><\/p>\n<figure class=\" img\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.wordpressdynamos.com\/timesofnewscdn\/blog\/3a122_apple-wwdc-2019-2605.jpg?resize=640%2C360&#038;ssl=1\" class=\"\" alt=\"apple-wwdc-2019-2605\" height=\"360\" width=\"640\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>            <\/a><\/p>\n<figure class=\" img\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.wordpressdynamos.com\/timesofnewscdn\/blog\/5dc75_screen-shot-2019-06-03-at-10-36-06-am.png?resize=196%2C110&#038;ssl=1\" class=\"photo\" alt=\"\" height=\"110\" width=\"196\" \/><\/figure>\n<h2> \t \t \t \t \t \t \tApple Watch and Watch OS 6       <\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"link\">Voice memo and calculator are now on your wrist<\/span>.<\/li>\n<li>There are new watch faces for Apple Watch: gradient face, digital face, California Dial and a Solar face with a 24-hour sun path.<\/li>\n<li>The Apple Watch app store is coming to the device, letting you browse, purchase and install right on the watch.<\/li>\n<li>There&#8217;s a redesigned <span class=\"link\">Health app<\/span>, <span class=\"link\">hearing monitoring app called Noise<\/span>, and fitness-tracking updates are coming.
